ELF UK, in partnership with other sponsors, successfully raised the funds needed for the kidney transplant surgery of Leo Jose, a 37-year-old from Irinjalakuda, Kerala,India who was suffering from severe kidney impairment. The funds for this project were raised through a national level TUG OF WAR event held in High Wycombe, United Kingdom. With a kidney transplant being his only viable option for survival, the surgery was completed successfully, enabling Leo to regain his health and return to a normal life.
